A passionate photographer since my early teens, so much so my nickname was 'tripod' when I was at Art College in the 1980s. I've combined commercial photography with my graphic design business Mark Appleton Design for over 30 years. 

 

I spent a decade in Wester Ross on the west coast of Highland Scotland working as a graphic designer/photographer - Mark Appleton Design where I furthered developed my passion for landscape photography. It was a magical place to live and work and it will always hold a special place in my heart.

I have relocated to France, a beautiful country with diverse landscapes and I am looking forward to sharing with you the many wonderful locations I will be visiting.
